Steps to follow when you get a headache:

  1. Take 1 gram of paracetamol.

  2. Take 1 anti-sickness tablet with it.

    • 1x 10mg Metoclopramide

    • 1 x 5mg Prochlorperazine (switched to this from 2nd Dec)

  3. Drink this with a sweet caffeinated drink (e.g. can of normal coke).

If the headache isn't relieved or it gets worse after 45/60 mins:

  1. Take a triptan (currently Zolmitriptan nasal).

  2. If headache/ migraine reoccurs, take one more triptan. (Never more than 2)

Update

Have noticed that the most effective prevention med so far has been:

  • 1 gram paracetomol

  • 1 x 5mg Prochlorperazine

  • 1 x 75mg Asprin
